Last week as I led my "advanced parent/tot" group with the third lesson of this session. I was overcome with pride and excitement and had to share it with you. Many of these tots have been with me for several sessions, and it has paid off! So many parents want "survival", "instant gratification", or just really do not know what they want or what to expect. Our philosophy for this level (age 10 months to 35 months) of kids is to make the class a positive experience but focus on some very important safety skills. The format doesn't change, we simply improve on our skills each week. We hold our breath longer, we use our arms and kicks more, and we learn how to climb out of the pool better.
